We are now the proud parents of a 4 year old, a 3 year old, a 1 year old, and a soon to be 0 year old. Emmalyn turned 3 yesterday. She's 38 inches tall and weighs 34.2 lbs.
We are so happy to have Emmalyn as our daughter. She has such a fun and strong personality. She's our little giggle box and loves to talk and tell us stories just like Shaylin. She has a lot of fun playing with dolls and other toys with Shaylin and is also very loving towards Bronson (that is whenever she's not teasing him). She loves to literally run around the house and backyard and is turning into quite the little speedster. She has a hard time sitting still and always seems to want to be doing something.
Because our family's schedules didn't match up, we ended up doing two birthday dinners. a birthday dinner at our house on Sunday night with my (Matt's) family and a we went out to Pei Wei yesterday night with Jayna's family.
Jayna gave Emmalyn the choice of any type of cupcakes and she chose pigs. We have no idea why, since she's never really shown any interest in pigs before. So my mom found a great idea for the cupcakes online and then helped Jayna make them. They turned out really good!
One of the presents we got Emmalyn was a pink tee ball set. She loved it - here she is in the backyard hitting.
Jayna's mom paid for Emmalyn to get her nails done for her birthday and also let Shaylin join in on the fun...
Bronson loved the tee ball set too. We'll definitely have to get him a more manly one soon.
