On to Duck Creek

July 21st

We headed out to Duck Creek, UT for the Olsen reunion on Monday. Grandma Olsen is nice enough to put together these reunions every two years. This year she rented out cabins for each of the families (we had our own) and rented six four wheelers for most of the time we were there from Monday afternoon - July 21st - to Saturday morning - July 26th. So not only did we get to spend a bunch of time hanging out with all of our extended family, which was a ton of fun, but we got to go four wheeling, fishing, and hiking (among other things) while we were there.

Believe it or not we actually ended up with over 4000 pictures between all the cameras that were up there of all the extended family, so it took us a while to sort them out and pick some of our favorites. We'll spread them out over a few posts during the next few days.

Shaylin getting ready for the drive over to Duck Creek. When we put her in the car she likes to climb in the front seat as quickly as possible and then proclaims over and over while smiling 'I driving!.'

'Driving' with dad's sunglasses on...

We were stuffed to the brim with our luggage as well as tons of food and games for the reunion. We had so much weight in our little van that just about every warning light in it went on while we were driving over which had us a little concerned until they finally went off after we had been there for a few days.

We had to stop once to feed Emmalyn and to gas up. Emmalyn was all smiles after she was done eating...

You guys have been quite busy this summer! Glad you have been having fun vacations. I never heard of the geo-cache thing before, either. Sounds like fun!
