June 27th

We are ALMOST caught up (again) on our posts! We just were hanging out one day and took these pictures of the girls.

We were trying to help Emmalyn 'hug' Shaylin, but instead she decided to try to grab and pull Shaylin's ear a couple times. It was pretty funny...


Emmalyn is so much better at tummy time than Shaylin ever was. Her smiles are too cute, so we had to take a picture...

We were a little skeptical at first when Emmalyn was first born and her eyes looked blue, but they are now more blue then ever. We're very surprised because Jayna has hazel-green eyes and Matt's are brown and we never expected to get a blue-eyed baby! The recessive genes must have caught up with each other. Jayna and Matt each only have one person in each of our immediate family's with blue eyes. Shaylin's eyes are brown.

June 28th

We went over to our good friend's, the Glenn's, house on Saturday to hang out and celebrate Joe's birthday. This was the first time we had hung out with the Glenn's and the Lopez' since we have all had our second kids! The Glenn's had their baby girl Sydney at the beginning of June. We had a fun time together. The kids especially loved playing on the Glenn's playground and swinging on the swings.

Shaylin had fun going in and out the door of the playground's playhouse. It had a little bell to ring and a mailbox that Shaylin had fun playing with!

Here's all six of the kiddos together. We were kind of surprised when we all got pregnant with our first kids around the same time and then even more surprised when we all got pregnant with our second kids within a few months of each other again. We'll see if we can keep the trend up with our third kids, although we're not counting on it. As you can imagine, it was pretty hard to get a good picture of all of them.

As always, we had a great time hanging out with friends! Thanks Joe and Jana for inviting us over to play!
