Leaves.... and Feathers

One of our favorite places to go in the Maricopa (city) area is the Leaf & Feather nursery that's a few miles out of town. We've posted about it before, but for any of you who have no idea what it is, it's a nursery that sells a bunch of Arizona grown plants as well as a bunch of Australian plants that would be hard to find anywhere else. Not only do they sell plants but they also have tons of birds (peacocks, parrots, pigeons, etc), fish, tortoises, horses, and Jack the monkey. Shaylin loves going out there and so do we. This trip we went with our friends Jordan and Erin.

There are a couple of parrots there that sing a Christian song along the lines of 'Jesus loves me yes I know, for the Bible tells me so' with random interjections of 'Cornbread!' mixed in. It's pretty funny. Here's the singing birds:

When she wasn't busy staring at the birds, Shaylin enjoyed pushing Emmalyn around in the stroller. She could barely reach the handle, but she still did a good job of pushing it around.
