The rest of these pics are from Jayson's (Jayna's younger brother) last night in town before going back to school in Missouri. It didn't take long for Shaylin to remember Jayson when he came home. He is very good at playing and spending time with her. The night before he left it was almost like she knew he was going away for a few months because she wanted him to hold her the whole time. When we sat her down on the couch next to him to take a picture she laid her head on his shoulder for a long time, which she doesn't ever do unless she's not feeling well.
Shaylin loves being the center of attention (we're not sure where she gets it from since both of her parents are actually pretty shy). Jayson had a bunch of his friends over and she was running around smiling and showing off all the things she can do, like play her recorder.

Love the new pictures - Shaylin is just so cute (as are her parents!)and it's so great to be able to see pictures of the cute things she does!! Her goodby to Jayson was so sweet! We're excited that the Bakers have joined the blogging world and maybe I'll have to also -I could post pictures of all the snow we have up here now!
I'm so jealous that you can hang out in your backyard like that! Can you imagine if I tried to have a picnic in my backyard?!? Ha!!
