Shaylin's Antics

Shaylin has such a fun personality and she brings so much joy into our lives. She likes to be silly, which means she fits right in with her parents. All of these pictures are just of Shaylin getting caught being her normal goofy self...

She decided that this kitchen towel looked better on her head then it did hanging off of the oven.




We don't usually take pictures of Shaylin while she's sleeping, partly because she's a light sleeper, but Jayna couldn't resist when she found Shaylin sleeping next to her baby doll one morning. Needless to say, seconds after the picture was taken she was awake and ready to get out of her crib. Creepy sidenote: we think the doll was looking at the camera :).



Shaylin has figured out how to put her sunglasses on by herself, which usually results in them being upside down. Whenever she's wearing the glasses now she puts her pointer finger in the air and says 'coo' which is her way of copying us putting our thumbs up and saying 'cool dude' whenever she's wearing the glasses. She also still likes to play with any phone she can get her hands on.



Shaylin likes to try and 'help' Jayna fold her clothes. This picture was taken looking straight down from the top of the stairs.

Shaylin loves going down slides, and this one at the Brugman's (Jayna's parents) house is no exception.

For any of you wondering what happens when you take too many pictures of your child, here's an idea. She used to smile everytime the camera came out but now we get a lot more looks like this when we try to take pictures. We're not sure what she was thinking but it was probably something along the lines of 'you guys are crazy if you think I'm going to smile for another picture today.'
