Better Late than Never

Here's a few random pictures from mid December...

December 17th

Shaylin posing for the camera.

Emmalyn wanted in on the action and also began smiling for a picture...

Later that evening, our good friends, the Scow's, brought over dinner for us. They cook amazing food and one of our favorite meals we eat together is Jordan's delicious tacos. It is above and beyond your normal mexican dinner and we just LOVE it. A big thanks to them for bringing over tons of food and letting us hang out with them and their adorable little twins. The girls love to hold Logan and Addison. They are getting so big and cute!

Bronson was out like a light bulb when Jordan was holding him and noticed that we hadn't cut his nails yet, so he offered to trim them. Thanks Jordan!

December 18th

The next day we went to the Brugman's for Bronson to meet Jayna's friend Nikki and her mom Sandy. The girls also had fun playing with Nikki.

Nikki and Bronson...

Us girls, Emmalyn, Nikki, Jayna, and Shaylin...

Nikki and Jayna...
((sorry for the hair in your face Nikki, I (Jayna) didn't even know!!))

Nikki also got to meet Shaylin and Emmalyn's little babies...

December 20th

Bronson (2 weeks old) is sleeping the same way Shaylin used to sleep in the swing at this age. One of these days we'll have to put some pictures up of all our kids at the same age and take a poll to see if people think they look alike or not.

December 21st

Bronson's (2 weeks old) close up pictures and some with his big sister Shaylin. The girls still LOVE to hold him!

Later that evening we decided to make our gingerbread houses! The girls had a lot of fun. Emmalyn had a good time sneaking some peppermint candies. We saw that she had one in her mouth, but when we had her spit it out, she spit out TWO! She was definitely sneaky and we were glad she didn't accidentally swallow them.

It was definitely a family done gingerbread house and here is one angle of our finished project. For some reason we are posting the picture of the houses bad side. The side with all the green ended up caving in because the pieces came broken and we weren't patient enough to wait the 45 minutes the instructions told us to wait after 'gluing' it back together with icing.
