6 Year Anniversary & Firestation Visit!

Oct 3rd

We recently had our six year anniversary. Jayna's parents were nice enough to watch the girls while we went out to a nice dinner at Oregano's. The past six years have flown by! We feel so blessed to be more in love now than ever and to have two beautiful little girls with a boy on the way.

Here's a picture of us before going out to dinner...

Oct 7th

Earlier in October we got to go to one of the Maricopa fire stations (which happens to be right around the corner from our house) for a tour with Shaylin's preschool. Matt took the day off of work so that he could go too. The firemen (and firewoman) were extremely nice and all the kids loved the tour, especially getting to see and sit in the fire trucks.

Here's Shaylin with the rest of the kids in her preschool.

Same picture with a better view of the truck. We forget what they called this one but it's basically a huge tanker that can hold a ton of water and can be used to fight fires where there isn't a fire hydrant close by.

One of the fireman got all dressed in his fire gear to show the kids. Here they all are with him.

Shaylin absolutely loved getting to actually sit in the fire trucks and ambulance.

Here she is driving the ambulance.

Another truck showed up while we were there and it had a huge cabin that the kids got to walk around in.

Here's Shaylin in the truck with a big old fireman's helmet on.

Shaylin and Emmalyn pretending to drive the truck while sitting on the front bumper.

Shaylin even got to climb on the ladder on the back of one of the trucks.
